Privacy and house rules

What we keep

Device copy is yours. A night, a photo, or everything on this device can be deleted here. Publish is a separate choice. Unpublish pulls it off the public feed. Delete account wipes TTCG’s server copy. We cannot unspread a screenshot someone else already saved. We do not sell accounts or nights.

If you publish: venue, the three lines, conditions, weights, display name, and photos you attached go on the Session feed and may be used on tothecarpgods.com and TTCG socials. Swim and wraps stay hidden unless you turn that off. Published is fair game for text, photos, water, weight, display name and marketing.

Unpublished nights stay off the feed and off marketing photos. If you tick patterns, anonymised conditions (water, wind, glass, catch band — no name, no photo) may go in TTCG’s water book so Linnet and the book get wiser. You can refuse that tick.

When you create an account we store that you confirmed you are 16 or over, and that you accepted the house rules, with the time. Publishing is refused until that is on the account. If you let Linnet read a night, we store that tick and the time. Reports of a Chronicle (reason and optional note) are stored so the TTCG list can take it down.

House rules

• No hate. No stolen fish, no stolen photos.
• No pin-drops, grid refs, or swim-and-wrap on a club or day-ticket water.
• No accounts under 16. No recognisable under-18 in a public photo without a parent.
• No unlawful content, and nothing that puts a person, a fish, or TTCG at risk.
• Context over hero shots. Bank atmosphere is welcome; fake trophy shots are not.

Moderation is a small TTCG list. Report a published Chronicle from its page. We will take down what breaks the house. If we missed something, email us.

Linnet

Linnet is TTCG sitting next to you — live session, craft, waters anywhere, welfare, a photo you attach, and help with the three Chronicle lines. It will name a lake and talk wind and colour. It will not drop a peg, a wrap, or a grid. You start the conversation; it does not run on its own.

If you tick that Linnet may read this night, we send your question, a photo you attach, and the session notes you already logged (water, wind, glass, captures without swim or wraps) to xAI, who process that so Linnet can reply. xAI is a processor, not a place we sell nights. Do not put a peg, a wrap, or another person’s details into the box.
